The Conway of Life

This implementation of The Game of Life supports 3D maps, the rules are configurable, and it can handle maps up to 100000 by 100000 cells! While the author released the source code (Visual C++ 4.0), it can no longer be found anywhere and is probably lost.

With some caveats, The Conway of Life runs under Win32s. Hi Color mode does not work, regardless of desktop setting, you only get 16 colors. And since they have extensions longer than three characters, samples and templates probably can't be loaded or saved either.
