Tw33ty
Someone who used the handle Tw33ty on IRC wrote a program for
Pascal class. This code formed the base for Erik Wienke's game,
which he wrote to practice Delphi programming.
Tw33ty for Windoze is one of the most configurable Ataxx games.
You can set the board size to anything between 6×6 and 60×60,
you can set the stone and board colors to whatever you want, and
you can assign sounds of your choice to various events.
You can resize the window however you want, though naturally it
becomes unplayable if the tiles get smaller than one pixel. The
screenshot shows a small, but still playable window size. Click
on it to see haow it starts by default.
What is not configurable is the position od the stones at the
beginning of the game, and there are no obstacles.
Tw33ty has a built-in chat client. The game checks for connectability
at start and throw an error if it does not find any, but will run
regardless.
Win32s
The game itself runs under Win32s, but
the tabs of the options window don't work, you only see the top
tab which lets you set players and stone colors. Board size,
tile colors, and sounds cannot be changed under Win32s.
