Checkers
Some aspects of this game are rather weird. The fields of the
board have numbers (that can be turned off), but the display of
legal moves uses a different notation. The menu system needs
some getting used to as well. A very nice detail is that the icon
of the board is animated while the computer thinks.
Checkers needs a desktop with 32k or more colors, or the colors
of its board will be dithered horribly. It will start in
Win32s and can be used as a gameboard for
two players. But the computer opponent doesn't work, and the help
doesn't display correctly.
