WallBall

This game is fun. You can turn sound off or on in the options menu. If sound is turned on, does that mean there will be actual sound effects? No. It means you'll get that comic-style BING (you see it in the screenshot above) when the ball hits the paddle, and an animated SPLASH if you lose a ball.

There are a few flaws, usually relevant only on an actual Windows 3.1 PC. The background graphics are 16 colors, but not the Windows palette. That means that on any desktop with less than 32k colors they won't look as they should. On some levels it doesn't matter, on some it does. The actual icon (there are two to choose from) is not in the position where Windows looks for it, so the Program Manager shortcut will show that green BING by default.

But these are minor quibbles. This game is fun.
