Pipeline

While this game has similarities with Pipe Mania (check out Pipe Dream for an exact Windows clone), gameplay is essentially different. Your goal is to connect a drain and source, and not to leave any open ends, a difficult task due to the many T- and X-shaped pieces. You do not have to use every piece presented to you, but you have to finish your task within a limited timespan.

Pipeline has completely different graphics depending on whether it runs on a 16-color or 256-color desktop. The 256 color graphics, with their pastel, cartoony, hand-drawn style, were far ahead of the time.
