The about button says version 1.0, February 1993, but the time stamp
of the executable is 1996. Most likely Kalaha was originally a 16-color
game, recompiled later with 256-color graphics.
Menus are in Swedish only, but should not be too difficult to figure
out if you are familiar with the Mancala concept.
