Fruits Fields
Collect all the fruit on each level. You can push blocks only into the
direction their arrow is pointing, but you can push them from all sides
except front. You can destroy a block by pushing it from behind against
anything except a block pointing in the opposite direction. These, in
short, are the rules of Fruits Field.
The first level is an easy tutorial, but then it gets quite tough. You
can always jump a level that you can't figure out, but you can't go back
to it with the same player, you'll have to create a new one.
There are game graphics for 16 and 256 colors, you can choose in the
Game > Options menu. With each cleared level,
part of a picture is revealed. This picture displays correctly only under
32k colors or more. It's not a big surprise though, it's the FFIELDS0.BMP
in the game archive.
Fruits Fields is a Japanese game, originally released in 1988 for the
Sharp X68000. Leslie Tsang's Windows version dates back to 1992.
