MEGA Tetris
Behind its garish outside, MEGA Tetris works very well. The
controls are just as we are used to: up-arrow rotates, space drops.
The sound effect for a dropped piece is satisfying and positioned
in a stereo space. The menu, too, is snappy.
Tony Toole won two deserved prizes at the X2 Support Group 1995
Programming Contest, where he submitted his game: A Paradise's Game
Programming CD-ROM for the game itself, and an Infomagic's Games for
Daze CD-ROM for the DLLPower engine that stood behind it.
