Styx

In 1986, Windmill Software released a demo disk with four of their games, Conquest, Digger, Rollo and the Brush Bros., and Styx. These games were at the time between two and four years old, but the demos all bore the date 1986. They were restricted to two levels each and did not save high scores. While the full games were all booters, the demos ran under DOS.

Styx is a Qix clone running in the uncommon tweaked 160×100 CGA mode and thus needs a genuine Color Graphics Adapter. If you play it in DOSBox, be sure to set DOSBox to CGA mode.
