Krypton Egg PC
An Arkanoid-style game with opulent graphics and opulent
powerups. Every five levels it turns into a shoot 'em up and
treats you to a boss fight à la
R-Type,
but this does not apply to the limited and demo version you
can download here, which has only five levels in total.
There is a Windows version as well. It has eight instead of five levels.
Krypton Egg must be one of the longest selling games in
history. Originally released in 1989 for the Atari ST, it was
relaunched 2008 for Windows and mobile phones.
