Most graphical Gomokus have emulated either a Go board or naughts and crosses on cross-section paper, or even both. Get 5 instead goes for an appearance of red and blue marbles on a carved wooden board. This board looks surprisingly good in the 16 colors of hi-res VGA, one of the latest uses of this graphics mode. Get 5 even offers an Internet highscore contest!
