QBasic

With DOS 5.0, QBasic replaced GW-Basic as the standard BASIC interpreter. With DOS 6.0, it got an upgrade to version 1.1, which was included with DOS and Windows up to ME.

The two files in this archive (qbasic.exe and qbasic.hlp) should go somewhere in your path. On a Windows PC, into the Windows folder; for DOSBox, into the directory that is mounted as C: by DOSBox.

QBasic came with four sample programs, two of which were games: Gorillas and Nibbles. You can download them both here.
